Elastic bandages come in various sizes. Follow these steps for wrapping (example for ankle):

• Hold the bandage with the roll facing up.
• Start at the top of the foot beneath the toes, leaving toes exposed.
• Wrap the bandage in a circle twice around the foot (outside to inside).
• Move to the heel and continue wrapping in a spiral pattern.
• Overlap the bandage by 1/2 of its width each time.
• Cross over the foot, behind the ankle, and wrap upward circles toward the knee.
• Fasten the end securely. Avoid metal clips in skin folds like behind the knee.
